Right AGENT
It’s important to find someone who not only has the right credentials, but also has the personality that matches your needs. Ask questions. Find out how long the agent has been in the industry and how long they’ve lived in the area. Look for agents who work full time and have a team. Right PRICE
With the current market, it’s tempting to list your house at a high price. Don’t do this. It’s important to set an appropriate price to ensure your house sells quickly. Pricing too high will likely keep it on the market longer as potential buyers will simply not look at your home. Instead, your real estate agent will work with you to find a competitive price that will encourage multiple bids for your home.
Right TIME
Feeling cramped in your new home? Have too much space? No longer interested in the neighborhood? Then, it might be the right time to sell. But don’t underestimate the time it will take to sell your home. Meetings with your agent, open houses and visits to the bank are only the beginning. Once your house is sold you’ll be busy packing and moving. Ensure you are at a period in your life that you can invest the time in making this big change.
